About the event

One does not simply walk into Mordor, but you can certainly join us at Marble Springs in our screening of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Friday September 12th, presented by 865 Axe! Admission is FREE and will include fun activities (TBA) before the film including free axe throwing from our friends from 865 Axe; now is your chance to channel your inner Gimli!


Gates open at 6pm and movie begins at sundown ~8pm.


Visitors are encouraged to dress up! We'd love to see your best hobbit, wizard, or fantasy creature!

This event is part of the Historic House Museums of Knoxville's Movies at the Museums; a collaborative event showing 3 different movies, at 3 different museum on the first 3 Fridays of September!

From pirate adventures, to epic fantasy worlds, to fast-paced action, each historic house museum will show a different film for audiences to…
