Celebrate Tennessee’s journey to statehood with a full day of frontier history, heritage crafts, live interpretation, and Appalachian food traditions at the historic home of Governor John Sevier.

The annual Statehood Day Festival at Marble Springs State Historic Site brings history to life with hands-on experiences, storytelling, and cultural demonstrations across the historic homestead. Whether you’re a history buff, a foodie, or just looking for a fun, educational outing—there’s something here for everyone.


✨ Festival Highlights

🫓 Cornbread Cook-Off - Watch home cooks and local food businesses face off in a blind-judged cornbread competition! Judging takes place at the Pavilion, with winners announced around 1:00 PM.👉 Enter the Cook-Off
